What can you expect?

A briefing session with the client will clarify and determine the issue, objectives and deliverables required. This results in the development of the workshop agenda and questions.

Ignite offers impartial, professional skilled facilitators who use a variety of techniques and tools including a visual mapping process to facilitate numerous types of workshops.

All participants contribute in idea generation, analysis and the prioritising of the ideas (if required). The process enables participants to test the viability of the solutions (anonymously if required), highlighting pitfalls or obstacles that may be encountered.

  • In the workshop the facilitator will pose 'open' ended questions, stimulating divergent and lateral thinking. The responses gathered & clustered using the facilitator tools. A process of 'unpacking' and analysis is often required to ensure common understanding and clarity of the ideas (problems or solutions) - this may involve a rating or matrix. With a common understanding, the participants may now prioritise, rank or sequence the ideas or solutions using a number of processes including an anonymous voting process.
Action plans are then developed on the prioritised solutions, using the headings..."What steps?" "By whom?" "By when?" "What measures?"
  • A report of the workshop discussions, findings and action plan is generated. This is delivered within 2 working days of the workshop.

The length of the workshop depends on the outcomes or deliverables required by the workshop champion or sponsor - typically a workshop ranges from one day to three days.
